Rambo the Dog needs a home
Rambo is a big, sweet, goofy boy that beams when he smiles! He is longing to find a walking companion to help him stay fit and trim. Running might be a bit too much for him though. Once he's had his excercise for the day he is content to lope around the yard, check in with his family, and take naps on and off. Oh, and he is also a smarty pants that loves to impress you with his skills. He knows how to "sit," "stay," "kennel-up," "touch," "stop," and "leave it." He is a big boy, so not suitable for small children. Rambo gets along nicely with other dogs but would prefer not to have more than one fur sibling. Nothing is finer than to hear a coonhound bay, and Rambo will when a stranger approaches. He likes to keep his family safe. Rambo would thrive with a low key family in a calm household. He has such of a sweet demeanor and charming personality that he can easily become one of the most important 'people' in your life.
Full Disclosure: Rambo has some hip dysplasia and a buckshot in his hip and spine. He needs to stay lean (about 50lbs), walk every day, and take a Rimdyl chew and glucosamine chew each morniing. A liver enzyme test every 6 months is recommended. He is expected to live a full and healthy life!
His current family loves him and wants him to feel at home with his new family so will provide his crate (he loves his crate), fitted crate bed, a large night bed, and months of his meds.
